Written walkthrough
Follow the video, then use the written steps below while you work in your dashboard.
The walkthrough uses a demo workspace and synthetic customer details. Channel availability depends on your account and provider configuration.
Review channels
In this lesson, we will review channels and Support Page. Open Channels and check each connection’s status. Start with the channel your customers use. Email and phone are marked as planned rather than available connections.
WhatsApp setup
Choose a WhatsApp connection type. Review coexistence if the team will keep using the WhatsApp Business App, or the standard option for a dedicated Tawasol number. Read the differences before continuing.
WhatsApp requirements
Read the prerequisites and open the setup guide. Specify whether you have a Meta Business Portfolio, then complete Meta authorization with your account. This recording covers preparation only; a real connection needs your account, number, and required Meta permissions.
Messenger setup
For Messenger, review the Facebook Page requirements: full Page access and messaging permissions. Setup is unavailable in this local environment. Once enabled in yours, complete authorization and test a message arriving in Inbox.
Instagram setup
Instagram requires a professional Business or Creator account and messaging access. Setup is unavailable locally here. After connecting in your environment, send a text DM, confirm it reaches Inbox, and test the reply.
Find help in the dashboard
Support Page provides a simple help page with FAQs and the Widget. Set its title, description, slug, and FAQ cards. Review generated drafts first. Keep the page disabled until its content and appearance are ready to share.
