Written walkthrough
Follow the video, then use the written steps below while you work in your dashboard.
The walkthrough uses a demo workspace and synthetic customer details. Channel availability depends on your account and provider configuration.
Widget home
In this lesson, we will configure the Widget for your website. Open Website Widget from Channels. Start with the display name, greeting, and first chat message. Review the preview and arrange home shortcuts around visitor needs.
Chat behavior
Review automatic prompts: whether they appear, their delay, and mobile visibility. Match them to how visitors use your site. This demo workspace already has suggested-message settings, whose visibility can differ between workspaces.
Translations
Open Translations and add Arabic visitor-facing messages. Review greetings, labels, and shortcuts. Use natural wording and check mixed Arabic and English reading order. Review the preview and save your changes.
Style and appearance
In Appearance, choose a brand color and launcher icon. Use the preview to check your choices. After saving, also test the actual Widget on your site and on mobile to confirm its appearance and position.
Install the code
Open Installation and copy the Widget snippet. Place it before the closing body tag, then publish the page. WordPress guidance and other installation options are also available. This recording uses a local training API; use the correct service URL on your live site.
Open your website chat
After installation, open the site and launch chat. The Widget is genuinely installed on this local training page. Review its name, greeting, and shortcuts as a visitor, then send a test message.
Send a test question
Send a simple question answered by your knowledge. Here we asked about Cairo shipping. In Copilot mode, the assistant prepares an Inbox draft for team review and publication. We will cover that step in the Inbox lesson.
Check the reply
After the draft was published in Inbox, the visitor received the 60 EGP shipping answer. This completes the local test flow. Repeat these steps on your real website and confirm that the visitor receives the reply.
