Install the widget on WordPress

This is the fastest path for WordPress site owners, marketers, and support teams. You need access to the WordPress admin and the widget snippet from your Tawasol workspace.

Before you start

Copy the hosted widget snippet from Integrations, then Web Widget, then Install, before you open WordPress. Most teams can paste it with WPCode or a similar header and footer plugin, so nobody has to edit the theme.

If the site is mainly Arabic, change data-locale="en" to data-locale="ar" before you save the snippet. See Arabic and English widget layouts.

Install steps

1. Copy the Tawasol snippet from Integrations, Web Widget, Install.
2. In WordPress, install and activate WPCode or another header and footer plugin you trust.
3. Open the plugin area for header and footer snippets.
4. Paste the snippet into the footer field so it loads near the end of the page.
5. Save, then open the live site in a new browser tab.

Check the installation

• Open the live WordPress site.
• Look for the Tawasol launcher in the corner.
• Open it and send a short test message.
• Confirm the conversation appears in Tickets.

When something looks off

If the launcher does not appear, confirm the snippet is in the footer, clear the WordPress cache, and reload the live page. Use Troubleshoot widget installation for cache, blocked scripts, or the wrong locale.
